Our Community Café now features Linking Leedsservice, every Tuesday Tom from the charity will be around to give advice and link people with various citywide services and give practical help to improve social, economic and mental wellbeing.

 

We are extending our connection with the local to St Mark’s primary school Quarry Mount; following some encouraging meetings with the new pastoral lead Kim we are ready to start the Early Intervention Program this summer with a number of Gateway volunteers mentoring and coaching some of the young people there.

 

The Worship in the Wilderness series has shown to be a really healthy season for many in Gateway as we grow together and learn to be more open and vulnerable with one another.

 

The Sunday Youth have starting studying the book of James and there has been some great stories of individuals keen and eager to learn more. And the 11.30 Gathering had the joy of baptising one of their young people the other week. (see photo below)
