Sunday Gatherings

On Sundays we meet at 10am at St Mark’s for ‘Connect time’ which includes; refreshments, Gateway kids registration and fellowship, then starting worship in the main hall at 10.30am with the aim to finish by 12noon.
On the first Sunday of the month we’ll be running a shorter all-age gathering and the other 3/4 weeks in each month there will be a Bible message with separate Gateway Kids work.
With around 150 people including children, we usually spend time worshipping God and looking at the bible together. Everyone of any faith or none is very welcome to come along.

Gateway kids
At Gateway we believe that our children can know God, be in relationship with Him and be filled with the Holy Spirit. We believe that they have an indispensable part to play in the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12-25).
Each Sunday we begin our gatherings with 20 to 25 minutes of worship. On “all age” Sundays (first Sunday of each month) children stay with adults and teens in the main hall and we have a short, interactive all-age Bible talk. We then finish around 11.30.
On all other weeks, Gateway Kids starts around 11am, taking place in the reunion room (cafe area) and upper room, while adults and teens remain in the main hall for further worship and a sermon.
Gateway Kids is broken down in Mini Explorers (preschoolers) and Explorers (school-age kids, aged 5 to 11). Each week there are fun activities and time to learn from the Bible together. All Gateway Kids Workers go through a full recruitment process and are DBS checked.
