What we've been up to!

We’ve enjoyed some Joyful and encouraging Sundays together over the last month, celebrating with those being Baptised and with those responding to Hannah’s healing sermon, the Gateway Kids Explorers have also had some great sessions with very young children expressing heartfelt prayers to God in writing and opportunities to ‘catch’ from God.

Natalie Hardy and Amy Sprenger launched the Creative Tuesdays, a pop up creative workshop once a month at the Gateway Community Cafe which went really well, particularly with local and church mums engaging with the art work, and children able to join in too.

Chris Frost, Hugh and Charity went to encourage the Cumbria region at their regional celebration.

The Gateway Men’s team held an encounter evening in March which was really well attended with the opportunity for reflection and worship, thank you to David Lloyd for leading this time.

Two of our Student & Twenties team Eniola and Tom put on a very successful networking event giving the chance for students and graduates to connect with professionals from various fields! See Tom Stoddart’s Post here with more details and lots more of pics.

This is a place where we hope to share what we have been up to in Gateway, to let the whole church know of activities and aspects of church life including wider outreach and initiatives that you may not always get to witness or hear about. We want to encourage everyone with all the good and exciting projects we are part of and give space to look back, reflect on and thank God and others in our church community who serve in the local area, the city or further afield.

If you have something to share please email it in to sarah.woodger@gatewayleeds.net
