At the end of February we hosted a ChristCentral day and welcomed Wendy Mann and her team, Wendy is part of the King’s Arms church in Bedford, and a regular speaker at other UK churches, her real passion is helping churches to become more confident in receiving the Holy Spirit and moving in the gifts. During our time together there was a fantastic opportunity to receive the Holy Spirit’s encouragement and pray for each other with some powerful encounters and prophetic words.
Our Kids Life Group (KLG) has started back on Sunday evenings with a great bunch of kids in year 5 & 6 all keen and eager to get involved in discussion and challenge one another – a BIG thankyou to Simon and Esther for leading these sessions.
It has been great to get feedback from many of you who are currently taking part in our Lent Detox challenge and hear of personal connections with God and encouraging conversations as we keep each other accountable and support one other as a community.
All those at the Student & 20’s away day away had a fab time – Thank you to those who served and particular Sam and Hannah who opened up their home to nearly 20 young people! This was such an encouragement as we have been praying for this ministry and back in November at the ChristCentral day we specifically prayed for 20 new students to join us as a church community.
