The other week a number of Gateway folk travelled over to Sheffield for a Christ Central Yorkshire evening – it was a great time to worship together and connect with other churches and friends in our region.
The student & 20’s team hosted an event last weekend at St Mark’s led really well by Ibukun, Eniola and Nick Mance who planned an interactive bible study and activities to get everyone thinking and discussing around the topic of how to be a witness in your community and workplace.
Our Gateway Kids are following the Little Oaks curriculum and in the past few months during their sessions they have been looking at different topics including how God Forgives and God helps, Amy and the kids work team have been impressed at how our children are recognising and remembering God’s faithfulness in their lives. A BIG thank you to all those who serve our children on a Sunday and throughout the week.
We were all very exciting last Tuesday after the food hygiene inspection when we received a 5 STAR rating! A Massive well done to Esther, Bethan and the whole café team for their diligence and care of the building and the service they provide to our church and the local community!
