So many encouraging events to share about which took place over the Christmas period…
Thank you to so many of you who got involved in our various festive activities at the end of last year – it was great to see families and individuals from across the gatherings come together to serve our church and welcome in so many from community. This included sending out hampers for local families, Carol singing in Woodhouse, putting on our annual big outreach events with the Woodhouse Winter Wonderland and our Carol Service, hosting Christmas socials and parties at St Mark’s and running both a Christingle and Christmas Day gathering. This is a place where we hope to share what we have been up to in Gateway, to let the whole church know of activities and aspects of church life including wider outreach and initiatives that you may not always get to witness or hear about. We want to encourage everyone with all the good and exciting projects we are part of and give space to look back, reflect on and thank God and others in our church community who serve in the local area, the city or further afield.
